Jade Talks About Negotiation Process With TNA, How Long It Took Her To Decide, Previous Work

Since moving to Destination America, TNA has seen a drastic roster change. The likes of Homicide, Drew Galloway and The Rising have all popped up in TNA, while we've seen stars like Velvet Sky return. A couple of those new acquisitions are that of Jade and Marti Belle, collectively known as the Doll House.

TNA has seemingly been aggressive in pursuing new talent, and Jade took the time to talk to us about the negotiation process with the company. She also noted that she and Belle are actually best friends, and it helped the decision.

"I'm a realist. I feel old, so I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life," Jade said. "I wanted to settle down, but then again I wanted to wrestle for another ten years. Then I had my family. My mom wants me to do it, my dad doesn't want me to do it, my sister wants me to do it. It took me a while. I had to think about what I wanted to do with my life. At least I had my best friend. It's a challenge, it's something I haven't done before. It wasn't like the minute I got it, signed and sent it. I thought about it a couple days or a week or so, and decided I would do it. It wasn't that long."

This wasn't the first time that Jade or Belle had worked alongside TNA, however. The two had both worked Knockouts-only pay-per-view events, with Jade actually working the past three. Despite being a familiar name to TNA, Jade said there were no negotiations prior to this run.

"I live in Orlando, so I try not to get my hopes up or anything," explained Jade. "I'll always be prepared, but try to be realistic as possible. So if they don't tell me anything, I won't hold out hope. If something happens, that's cool, if not, that's cool too. There wasn't anything other than 'are you free on this date?'"

We'll have part one of our full interview with Jade tomorrow here on Wrestling Inc.
