AEW Dark Results (12/15): AEW Women's Champion Hikaru Shida, FTW Champion Brian Cage In Action

Ricky Starks (w/Powerhouse Hobbs) vs. Sotheara Chhun

Starks offers his hand to Chhun, but Starks instead pulls it away. Chhun isn't having it and goes right on the offensive. Starks quickly slows does Chhun and throws him into the corner. Hobbs takes advantage of Starks distracting the ref and lands a shot on Chhun. Starks starts wearing down Chhun. Chhun avoids a Stinger Splash and hits a stunner on Starks, goes for the cover but gets two count. Chhun tries for an O'Connor Roll, but Starks hangs onto the ropes as Hobbs as hangs onto Starks. The ref kicks their hands, but Starks bounces off the ropes, hits a spear and gets the win.

Brandon Cutler looks to keep his winning streak going next!

Brandon Cutler vs. Baron Black

Cutler and Black lock up and exchange holds. Cutler then shows off his power bouncing off the ropes and hitting a few shoulder tackles. Cutler tries for a springboard but runs in an atomic drop by Black. Cutler isn't fazed and goes back on the offensive on Black. Black tries to get a comeback going, but Cutler quickly counters and hits a reverse DDT on Black. He then hits a springboard elbow drop onto Black, cover and a seventh win for Cutler!

AEW Women's World Champion Hikaru Shida in action coming up next!

Hikaru Shida vs. KiLynn King

Collar and elbow lock up but a quick break. King offers a test of strength and Shida abides. Shida gets the better of King, but King bounces off the ropes and catches Shida in a roll up attempt but only gets a two. Shida counters with her won roll up, but King goes back and attempts another roll up for a another two count. Shida matches King's power with a big bodyslam. Shida sets up King with a running knee into the corner and then hits a backbreaker on King. Shida has King hanging on the outside, and she hits another running knee onto King! Shida tries to bring King back into the ring, but King slams Shida onto the apron and gets pumped up. King hits a sunset flip and a neckbreaker, cover but only a two count. King tries to finish off Shida, but Shida counters with an enzuguri. King again tries for for Kingdom Falls, but Shida counters and bounces off the ropes with a jumping knee strike, then a Falccoln Arrow for the victory.

Post-match: Abadon comes out of nowhere and pushes Shida off the ropes! Abadon takes out Shida and grabs the Women's Title and holds the belt high.

- Another episode of "The Waiting Room" kicks off with Rebel introducing Dr. Britt Baker DMD. Baker starts her monologue off by previewing tomorrow's episode of Dynamite. She talks about Hangman Adam Page "drinking himself into a cult". Baker tells Cody to "pick a lane" commenting on the stories he's involved in and to make a decision unlike his tattoo. Baker gives a shoutout to The Acclaimed before introducing her guests Shawn Spears and Tully Blanchard.

Baker asks Spears what happened in the Diamond Battle Royal. Blanchard notes Spears is 17-2 in AEW. Someone knocks on the door, and it's Marko Stunt! Spears closes the door on him, and Blanchard is not pleased about the distraction. The door knocks again, but this time it's Scorpio Sky who attacks Spears! Baker and Rebel are panicking as Sky throws Spears through the wall! Baker assures that "Tony will pay for it" as they depart.

Fuego Del Sol & "The Captain" Shawn Dean vs. The Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus) (w/Marko Stunt)

Jungle Boy and Del Sol start things off as they start off quickly evading and countering each other's moves and trying for quick pins. Dean tags in, but Jungle Boy takes him out with an arm drag before tagging in Luchasaurus. Jurassic Express are on the offensive, until Dean is able to counter Jungle Boy and hits a moonsault off his corner onto the outside! Del Sol tags back in as he goes onto the offensive against Jungle Boy. Jungle Boy avoids a huricanrana and hits a backbreaker, but Del Sol quickly tags in Dean. Jungle Boy avoids both Del Sol and Dean to tag in Luchasaurus. Luchasaurus shows off his power taking Del Sol and Dean on at the same time. Luchasaurus gets hit with a double dropkick, but Jungle Boy tags back in and takes out Dean with a big clothesline. Luchasaurus catches Del Sol with a big boot, Jungle Boy hits an assisted powerbomb on Del Sol and Jurassic Express pick up the win.

Leva Bates vs. Skyler Moore

Thunder Rosa joins commentary expressing her excitement for this match and addressing her recent spat with Baker. A quick show of sportsmanship before a quick lock up. Moore escapes from Bates' hold and gets a wrist lock of her own. Bates escapes with an arm drag as Moore and Bates again show respect for one another. Moore throws Bates off the ropes and lands a hop toss. Moore tries for another hip toss, but Bates counters with a crossface. Moore tries for a cover but only a two count. Moore then hits a gutwrench slam, a suplex and goes for the cover but only gets two count again. Bates escapes from Moore's bodyslam attempt and hits a few kicks before a backstabber. Bates tries to continue her momentum, but Moore catches her with a bodyslam. Bates catches Moore in a victory roll for the win!

Winner: Leva Bates

Brian Cage vs. VSK

Cage tries to quickly take out VSK, but VSK catches Cage off guard and hits a series of kicks and offense on Cage. Cage finds an opening and slams VSK. Cage tries for a Drill Claw, but VSK hits a few knees to get down. Cage counters VSK's offense and hits an overhead throw on VSK. VSK tries to shoot through the ropes for a DDT attempt, but Cage catches him and hits a double underhook neckbreaker. VSK continues to show fight and gets some offense on Cage and hits a tope suicida on Cage! VSK tries for another dive, but Cage catches him and slams him into the corner. Cage deadlifts VSK from the outside and suplexes him into the ring. Cage hits the Drill Claw for the win.

Winner: Brian Cage

The Acclaimed in action ahead of their big Dynamite match next!

Louie Valle & Mike Magnum vs. The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster)

Bowens comes out with a beatbox as Caster drops a diss rap on SCU saying "they're the future, and they the past". Caster mocks their opponents before Bowens takes the mic saying "The Acclaimed have arrived!" Caster and Magnum start things off. Magnum catches Caster early on, but Caster nails a dropkick to stun Magnum as he rolls over to tag in Valle. Caster doesn't allow Valle to get going as he goes to tag in Bowens.

Valle tags Bowens, and as the ref checks on him, Caster takes out Valle allowing Caster to repeatedly chop Valle before yelling into the camera, "You see that SCU! That's you tomorrow night!" The Acclaimed isolate Valle as they slowly wear him down. Bowens does a little showboating allowing Valle an opportunity to tag in Magum, but Caster tags in and takes out Magnum. Valle later his a missile drop kick on Caster allowing him to tag in Magnum. Magnum takes out The Acclaimed, but The Acclaimed fight back and take out Valle. The Acclaimed hit Acclaim to Fame for the win.

Dani Jordyn vs. Anna Jay

Jordyn comes out and does the Christmas "Mean Girls" dance, and she shows Jay in her Burn Book. Jordyn shows Jay the Burn Book, but Jay pushes Jordyn into the corner as the two quickly lock up and go back and forth. Jordyn kicks Jay in the head multiple times before grabbing the Burn Book again. Jay kicks the Burn Book into Jordyn's face onto the outside. Jay throws Jordyn onto the outside barricade and drags her back into the ring. Jay takes too much time allowing Jordyn to tag her with a right hands and a face buster, but Jay quickly kicks out. Jay catches Jordyn with the Jay Kick and locks in Queen Slayer. Jordyn passes out, and Jay picks up the victory.

Winner: Anna Jay

Bear Country (Bear Boulder & Bear Bronson) vs. The Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson)

Peter Avalon joins commentary before the match starts saying he's scouting for his pageant. Bronson and Uno start things off as the two exchange side headlocks. Uno hits a shoulder tackle but later meets a back elbow and a senton. Boulder tags in, but Uno backs off and tags in Grayson. Grayson tries to get in Boulder's face and hits a chop on Boulder. Boulder is not fazed by Grayson's offense. Boulder catches Grayson in a Gorilla Press and drops him. Bronson tags in and continues to wear down Grayson. Uno blind tags himself in as Grayson takes Bronson onto the outside. Dark Order go on a two-on-one offensive on Bronson. Dark Order isolate Bronson as he tries to find an opening to tag in Boulder. Dark Order hit an elbow drop side slam combo, cover but only a two count.

Bronson finds an opening and takes out Dark Order with a double suplex. Bronson tags in Boulder, and makes quick work of Dark Order. Boulder has Uno in a foreman's carry, and he catches Grayson at the same time! He slams both as Bear Country to finish the match. Grayson counters Bear Country's double team move as Uno tags in and tries to Fatality. Grayson tries to take out Boulder, but he catches him and powerbombs him into the corner onto Uno. Boulder carries Bronson, and they hits a double cannonball onto Dark Order! Boulder covers but only gets a two count. Boulder carries Bronson overs his shoulders and tries to slam him onto Grayson, but Grayson rolls out. Uno hits a kick on Boulder, a high knee and carries Boulder on his shoulders! He hits a backbreaker to take out Boulder. Dark Order hit Fatality for the victory.

Joey Janela & Sonny Kiss vs. Ryzin & Sean Maluta

Kiss and Ryzin start things off for their teams. Kiss shows off his technical prowess locking Ryzin in a front chancery. Ryzin prevents a double team move after Janela tags in but is later met with a Muta lock and dropkick combo. Ryzin throws Kiss onto the outside. Janela and Ryzin go face-to-face, but Janela is held back as he is not legal allowing Maluta to hit some shots on Kiss. Janela tries to restore order. Kiss avoids Ryzin's strike, and they both tag in their partners. Janela goes off hitting a German suplex on Maluta into the corner and a dive onto Ryzin on the outside. Janela hits a big clothesline. Janela then tags in Kiss before hitting a brainbuster, and Kiss hits a split-legged drop for the win.

Tay Conti vs. Freya "The Slaya" States

States shows off her power, but Conti catches her with a quick kick and a flying armbar, but States hangs onto the ropes for a rope break. Conti with a quick judo throw and a side kick, cover but only a two count. States picks up Conti and slams her to the corner. She lands an elbow as they ref breaks them. Conti catches States with her own elbow. States later hits a leg drop but misses the other attempt. Conti hits a few knees, a back elbow and continues to land strikes on States. Conti catches States with a corner arm bar. States carries Conti out, but Conti catches States in a variation chokehold for the victory

Winner: Tay Conti

Matt Sydal in action next!

Matt Sydal vs. Danny Limelight

Sydal and Limelight bicker back and forth before a quick lock up and exchange of holds. Sydal tries for some quick pins, but Limelight kicks out each time. Sydal in complete control as he works Limelight's left arm. Limelight quickly catches Sydal with a creative arm drag, but Sydal gains back control with a leg drop and later hitting Limelight with a knee strike in the corner, cover but only a two count. Sydal hits a snap-rana, but Limelight quickly counters into a huge clothesline, neckbreaker, cover but only a two count. Limelight tries to wear down Sydal.

Sydal bounces off the ropes and catches Limelight in a sunset flip then a submission attempt. Limelight escapes but is later met with a leg lariat. Sydal hits a series of kicks taking out Limelight. Sydal hits a rolling heel kick and brainbuster, cover but only a two count! Sydal runs to the corner, but Limelight counters for a springboard elbow. Sydal tries for a crossface, but Limselight counters and rolls into a sleeper hold. Sydal escapes and hits a swinging neckbreaer for the win.

Ivelisse (w/Diamante) vs. Kaci Lennox

Ivelisse goes on the quick offensive on Lennox. Lennox escapes out of the corner with an arm drag and hits a drop kick. Lennox misses a sliding dropkick and is distracted by Diamante. Ivelisse launches herself off the middle rope for a swinging DDT, cover but only a two count. Ivelisse lands a stiff kick and has Lennox in an arm bar. Lennox escapes, but Ivelisse hangs on and drags Ivelisse off her. Lennox lands an elbow and a cutter, but the effects of Ivelisse's submission attempts slow down Lennox. Lennox with a clothesline and spikes Ivelisse but only gets a two count! Ivelisse fights her way back, but Lennox has Ivelisse in a fireman's carry. Ivelisse catches Lennox in an octopus hold variation, and Lennox taps out.

Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent) (w/Orange Cassidy) vs. The Chaos Project (Luther & Serpentico)

Serpentico and Taylor start things out. A quick back and forth leads to Serpentico in a single-leg crab, but he reaches for the ropes. Luther and Trent tag in. Luther opts to tag out Taylor before taking on Trent. Trent bounces off the ropes and hits double knees on Luther. Trent dives over the top rope and takes out Chaos Project. The two teams fight on the outside as Cassidy looks on. Trent tries for a spear but runs in the the guardrail. Luther throws Taylor into the crowd area and brings Trent back into the ring. Serpentico tags in an hits a flurry of strikes on Trent while he's on the ground. Taylor tries to jump in, but Luther takes him out before throwing Serpentico at Trent onto the corner. Luther hits a belly-to-belly, cover but only a two count.

Luther and Trent trade strikes as he tries to tag in Taylor. Trent hits a back suplex on Luther. Serpentico tries to cut off Trent, but Trent throws him to the outside. Serpentico grabs Taylor before he can tag in. Chaos Project continue to wear down Trent though Serpentico does not want to be used as a weapon again. Chaos Project try to finish off Trent, but Taylor pushes Serpentico off the tope rope. Trent gets an inside-cradle pin and gets the win!

Post-match: Best Friends take out Luther. Miro comes out! The refs try to hold back Miro as he and Best Friends stand across with Excalibur signing off.
