DH Smith On Batista In MMA, APW Change, Serena Deeb Pulled From Upcoming Shows

When asked if Batista would fight in MMA, Smith — who is currently training in the sport — replied, "He's dropped a lot of weight; he's had a bad back injury when John Cena gave him the (Attitude Adjustment) off a car. He's avoided surgery and I don't know if he wants to take a fight or not, but he eventually wants to become a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Cesar Gracie. Deeb was forced to withdraw from the event due to injury, and her opponent Del Rey has been entered into the Countdown Showdown match instead.
