Slater has the quickness advantage while Tajiri with the obvious striking advantage landing some stiff kick to Slater's back. Tajiri into a wrist lock, reversed into a dropkick by Slater. The Aussie goes to the well one too many times and misses with a dropkick and is met with a boot to the midsection by Tajiri. The Japanese veteran regains control but Slater spins into a kick that glances Tajiri. Slater hits a corkscrew dive to the outside. Big running knee from Slater to Tajiri for a two count. T.J. Perkins vs. Da Mack

Da Mack is quite the character with a little Michael Jackson vibe. The two shake hands and we are underway. They trade wristlocks and reversals. Unique headscissors and reversals from each competitor as they stylishly counter each other's offense. TJP hits a "dab" for a pop from the crowd. More acrobatics that leads to a dropkick from Da Mack. Da Mack catches TJP and slams him into the apron. He then hits a somersault to the outside to take out TJP. This action is fast and furious! Perkins locks in a submission but Da Mack gets to the rope. Da Mack then hits another dive that takes out TJP. We head to the strike portion of match with side kicks and a stiff uppercut. Mustafa Ali vs. Lince Dorado

Ali a relative unknown to the Full Sail crowd, but big pop for "The Golden Lynx" Lince Dorado. Ali slaps Dorado's hand rather than a gentlemen's handshake. Ali attacks immediately but Dorado using his cat-like reflexes to hit a flying headscissors. Dorado for another dive but misses. Ali hits a long range flying knee to the outside. Back in the ring, Ali leaps into a jumping neck breaker and follows up with a knee to the back of Dorado for a two. Ali goes for a moonsault but nobody home. Dorado gaining some momentum as he counters a back fist into a kick. Dorado hits a springboard hurricanrana into a springboard dropkick. Then he hits a flying headscissors from the top! He's not done yet as he its a side moonsault to the outside. Ali takes another crossbody back in the ring and is covered for a two. Dorado looking a like a million bucks hitting strikes. Then hits a reverse springboard hurricanrana for a two! I can say that is the first time I've ever seen that move anywhere. Both guys on the top rope. Ali hits a Spanish Fly for a two! Akira Tozawa vs. Kenneth Johnson

This is your main event of the evening. Dare I say I dig Johnson's intro music. Nice pop for Tozawa. A firm handshake from Tozawa gets us started. Mat-based grappling early on with Tozawa with the waist lock. Johnson countering Tozawa's every move and the two have a standoff. Akira with a double leg takedown into a leg hold but Johnson reverses into an Indian Death Lock. Tozawa regains control holding on firmly to a wrist lock. Johnson counters into a side head lock. Tozawa reverses again into another stalemate. Hilarious that Tozawa's high pitched screams are getting over at Full Sail. Tozawa makes the first cover for a two. We stay on the mat with lots of beautiful technical wrestling from both men. We get into a chop fest with each man wanting some more. Tozawa fakes a chop and goes for punch right to the jaw! Big senton that Johnson was unable to block. Akira covers for a two. Tozawa grounding Johnson with kicks and slinks his way into an abdominal stretch. Johnson keeps finding a way out of nearly every move. Discus elbow from Tozawa but Johnson hits a single leg lariat out of desperation. Johnson lands on his feet out of a German Suplex and both men take each other down with a double clothesline. Each man taking the other's best shots in the middle of the ring. Knees to the face from Johnson to Tozawa into a jack knife cover for a two! Wheel barrel reversals galore. Tozawa hits an impressive snapping German Suplex. Tozawa follows it up with a deadlift German Suplex into the bridge cover for the three and the victory! Another fun match.
