- Conor McGregor's next fight will take place in Las Vegas, as the Irish fighter meets Dustin Poirier at UFC 178 in September. Officials announced the bout after both men agreed to meet earlier this month. The event features Jon Jones defending his light heavyweight title against Alexander Gustafsson.

McGregor (15-2) has won all three of his Octagon bouts, including a recent first round victory over Diego Brandao. Poirier (16-3) has won three straight and is 8-2 with the UFC overall.

- The UFC has released the latest rankings for each division following two events last week. There was little change among the Top-15, though Conor McGregor did move up two spots at featherweight and into the Top-10. McGregor finished Diego Brandao in Ireland over the weekend.

The rankings, which you can view here, will be updated once again next week following Saturday's UFC on FOX 12 card.
