WWE SmackDown Results 7/25 - WWE Tag Team Championship Up For Grabs, Cody Rhodes Appears & More

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s results for "WWE SmackDown" on July 25, 2025, coming to you live from the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio!

Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis of The Wyatt Sicks will be putting the WWE Tag Team Championship on the line for the first time since dethroning The Street Profits on the July 11 episode of "SmackDown" as they defend against Rey Fenix and Andrade. Fenix and Andrade defeated Nathan Frazer and Axiom, #DIY, and The Motor City Machine Guns in a Number One Contenders Match during last Friday's edition of "SmackDown" to secure their spot in tonight's match.

As he prepares to challenge John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a Street Fight at Night Two of WWE SummerSlam on August 3, Cody Rhodes will be appearing on tonight's show with something on his mind to share. The two men encountered one another last Friday as Cena looked to avoid signing the contract for their SummerSlam match, explaining that movie commitments would prevent him from competing at the upcoming Premium Live Event. Rhodes ultimately sent Cena crashing through the table in the ring, and made him put his name on the contract in the moments that followed.

Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez will be defending the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss at Night One of SummerSlam on August 2. Before they do, Bliss and Perez will be going one-on-one with each other in singles competition. Flair and Rodriguez met one another in the ring last Friday in a singles match of their own, with the former emerging victorious over the latter.

Additionally, Randy Orton, Jelly Roll, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul are all set to appear on tonight's show as the former two men prepare to take on the latter two men in tag competition at Night One of SummerSlam.

We are live! Triple H, several members of the "SmackDown" roster, and WWE Legends appear at the top of the entrance ramp to honor Hulk Hogan. WWE then gives a ten bell salute to Hogan, and shows a video honoring his life and career.

Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore then greet audiences at home as Logan Paul makes his way to the ring.

Randy Orton and Jelly Roll Meet With Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul

Paul says it's good to be home in Cleveland, then continues to rag on Cleveland and says tonight isn't about him but rather the community. He says he's giving Cleveland the chance to see a special edition of "ImPAULsive TV" live and introduces his guest, Jelly Roll.

Jelly Roll makes his way out and says Paul is acting like Cleveland loves him when they clearly don't. Paul responds by telling Jelly Roll he's getting in the ring at SummerSlam with two of WWE's finest, then asks Jelly Roll who he is. Jelly Roll tells Paul that he'll be the man to put him in a body bag, then says Paul has been a silver spoon kid for his whole life. He says he's not getting in the ring just for him, but every kid who doesn't come from a ton of money that gets picked on by people like Paul. He says WWE represented him and says Paul is nothing but a punk ass b****.

McIntyre joins Paul in the ring, and Orton joins Jelly Roll. He lands a right hand on McIntyre as Jelly Roll fires off forearms on Paul in the corner, but McIntyre clocks Jelly Roll from behind. Orton comes to Jelly Roll's aid and takes out McIntyre, but Paul lands a kick on Jelly Roll's midsection and looks to land a right hand on him. Jelly Roll ducks out of the way and lands a Boss Man Slam on Paul.

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair then make their way to the ring. Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez follow.

Rodriguez mocks Bliss from the outside, and Perez stomps on the back of Bliss' neck. She goes for a pin, but Bliss kicks out and Perez continues to stomp on her.

Bliss lands a Dragon Screw on Perez, then levels her with a pair of shoulder tackles and slaps her across her face. She lands a knee on the side of her face and follows it up with a dropkick, then sends her head repeatedly crashing into the mat. Perez delivers a moonsault to Bliss off the top rope, but Flair sends Rodriguez crashing over the barricade near the timekeeper's area. Perez gets in Flair's face, but Bliss surprises her with a DDT and ascends to the top rope. Rodriguez clocks Flair from behind on the outside and sets up for the Texana Bomb, but Bliss lands a Twisted Bliss on her. This opens the door for Perez to roll up Bliss (while holding onto the ropes) when she returns inside the ring for the win.

Green wears down Cargill with a submission hold, then delivers a hair whip that sends her crashing into the mat. Cargill delivers a Fallaway Slam to Green and lands a pair of back elbows on her in the corner, then sends her crashing into the mat with a chokeslam.

Fyre hops up on the apron, but Cargill looks to clock her. This allows Green to land a Lung Blower on Cargill and pin her, but Cargill kicks out. Green sets up for the Unprettier on Cargill, but Cargill reverses into a Jaded for the win.

We Hear From Cody Rhodes

He says he wants to fight "the real John Cena", then says it isn't about nostalgia. He says if this is Cena's last SummerSlam, then he better come like he's first talking to Stu the cameraman and wearing the title around his waist. He says he wants Cena to bring all his loyalty and respect so they can beat it out of each other.

Jacob Fatu then makes his way to the ring. The Miz follows.

Jacob Fatu vs. The Miz

The bell rings and the two lock up. Fatu levels Miz, then lands a Hip Attack on him in the corner and follows it up with a clothesline.

Solo Sikoa's music hits, and he makes his way to the ring along with Talla Tonga, Tonga Loa, and JC Mateo. This opens the door for Miz to land a chop block on Fatu and send him crashing into the ring post shoulder first. He sends him crashing into the barricade, then rains down Hammer and Anvil elbows on him and looks to fly off the middle rope. Fatu catches Miz and sends him crashing into the mat, then ascends to the top rope. Sikoa distracts Fatu, but Fatu looks to land a Swantomb Bomb on Miz. Rey Fenix and Andrade then make their way to the ring. The Wyatt Sicks follows.

The Wyatt Sicks (w/ Uncle Howdy, Nikki Cross, and Erick Rowan) (c) vs. Rey Fenix and Andrade for the WWE Tag Team Championship

Joe Gacy and Fenix begin the action. The bell rings and Andrade tags in. The pair double team on Gacy, but Andrade delivers The Three Amigos to Gacy. Lumis tags in and wears down Fenix, but Gacy tags in and follows suit.

Lumis tags back in and lands a bodyslam on Fenix, then lands a knee on his neck and connects with an open palm strike. Andrade and Gacy tag in, and Andrade delivers a Dragon Screw to Gacy. Lumis tags back in and delivers an Atomic Drop to Andrade, then double teams on him with Gacy. Andrade delivers The Message to Gacy. The referee begins to count the fall, but Nikki Cross pulls her out of the ring to cause the disqualification.

Winners (and still): The Wyatt Sicks

After the match, Erick Rowan continues beating down Fenix and Andrade, but the entire tag team division runs down to the ring and begins going after The Wyatt Sicks. Nick Aldis comes down to the ring with #DIY, and announces that there will be a TLC Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship with every team in the division on the "SmackDown" roster. All the teams continue brawling with one another as the show goes off the air.
